We have already started preparing to welcome all of you enthusiastic choir members in 2025. We do this, among other things, by practicing our group singing skills, as you can hear in the video below, where we sing the popular Danish pop song Flyvende Faduma.
The Danish language is known to be one of the more challenging languages to learn. You can practice the pronunciation of the words in Stille Mirakler by listening to the song here - sung by Kor-Danmark.
In 2018, the choir organizations Kor72 and Syng had a song written about all the magic that happens when people come together and sing. The song was originally used in connection with the project 'Voices build bridges' in Aarhus Festuge 2018 and has been used many times since then.
In collaboration with Kor72 and Syng, we use the song here to warmly welcome all our international guests to Aarhus with plenty of singing and music.
Sing the song Stille Mirakler and look forward to the European Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations Aarhus 2025.

Stille mirakler (Tekst: Iben Krogsdal., 2018)
Når hænderne rører hinanden, blir mennesker to,

Quiet Miracles (text: Iben Krogsdal, 2018, translation Lene Juul, 2023)
Hands reaching out, hands grasping tight,
hands intertwining, hands forging something right.
A world with room for venture and fall
and sharing immediate and daily happiness.
With a touch of our hands, two souls unite,
and we carry those burdened on the bridge of hands.
A thousand dreams flourish in the vibrant cityscape,
intertwining as a tapestry of hope and vivid thoughts.
Fueling a stronger faith in the days that lay ahead,
becoming the heartbeat of the city.
If only we share dreams to reside,
together we journey on the bridge of dreams.
Closed doors open ajar and expose,
and suddenly we meet a stranger and find the courage:
Bridging all that divides and stops.
We unite: We can! We do it!
We fight together with faith as our means
and overcome any abyss with a bridge of humanity.
New and old, meeting in songs
a chorus of countless voices
singing of shared existence, our profound connection,
the city's heartbeat echoing, a collective reflection.
When languages converge, possibilities unfold,
we raise the anthem of life unified on the bridge of voices.
